MY FAVOURITE STERLING SILVER PIN
The theme for the 2015 Festival of Pins My Favourite Pin competition is a competition for the favourite Sterling Silver pin. The CIPC Festival Committtee will award as a prize, a collection of the 2015 festival pins. The prize includes the 2015 Festival pin sold to attendees, a 2015 Festival Volunteer pin, and a 2015 Festival Committee pin.
Sterling Silver Pin Rules
- Enter a pin which is a Sterling Silver pin. The pin MUST have a silver mark on the back.
- The pin can have a standard pin back, a screw back, a broach back, a stick back or any other back that was part of the manufacturing process
- The pin can have colour, it does not have to be coloured silver. The silver mark makes it a Sterling pin

The pin can represent any subject matter and can be any size

If there is some question regarding whether or not the pin is eligible to be entered then a majority of the Festival Commitee members will meet and deccide

Only one pin entry per person. Anyone with a collection of Sterling Silver pins is encouraged to put them into the festival Display area

Voting by ballot for the Favourite Silver pin will commence at noon on Sunday and will close at 3pm on Sunday. Enter early so that voters can browse the competitive pins

The pin with the most votes will be awarded the winner of the 2015 Favourite Sterling Silver pin competition

Pin entries will be assigned a number and the names of the entrants will not be available to voters, including Festival Committee members in the event that they may have to cast a deciding vote

No hat badges, medals, buttons, or earrings are allowed. A lapel pin is typically a pin to be worn on a lapel

The Sterling Silver pin entry must be brought to the festival and entered into the competition display for judging; pictures are not eligible for entry

While every effort and care is taken for the safekeeping of all entries, the Calgaary International Pin Club, the club members, the 2015 Festival Committee, or the Legion hall can assume no liability, monetary or otherwise for pins entered into the competition
